On our last evening in Paris we had perfect weather to visit the Eiffel Tower. While having dinner near Champs de Mars, it started pouring rain! It poured all throughout dinner until we finished our meal. Then it stopped. The clouds parted and the sun came out. We decided to run over to the Eiffel Tower as the rain surely would have chased away the ubiquitous long lines of people. And it did! We didn’t even have to wait behind one single person! For the sake of being adventurous we chose to take the stairs up instead of the elevator. We hiked a total of 700 steps! And finally, we stayed to see the Tower all lit up at night. Paris, we love you!
