Hadrian’s Wall at Steel Rigg in Northumberland National Park

From York we drove to see Hadrian’s Wall. We checked into a charming family run B&B, and before the sun went down that evening, Cole and I bundled up and hiked to Hadrian’s Wall in time to watch the sunset. It was a cold evening but the timing worked out perfectly and we saw Sycamore Gap (the “Robin Hood Tree”) and enjoyed some pretty spectacular views of the sunset and wall.
