On our last day, we packed up the campsite and stopped for a picnic lunch at Temperance River State Park. It was so beautiful I hope we can come back again and explore it some more. We had just enough time to do a short hike to Hidden Falls, then we saw where the beautiful river meets Lake Superior. There were a lot of swimmers and cliff divers and the view was gorgeous! We also stopped at Beaver Bay – a great place for picking Lake Superior agate! The water was so clear and also freezing cold! It was fun afternoon! Finally, no trip to the North Shore is complete without a stop at Betty’s Pies. Warm caramel apple pie a la mode (with a cuddling sleeping baby) is the best! It was a fun weekend. We love visiting Minnesota’s North Shore!
