Happy July 4th! The only thing better than wonderful friends are wonderful friends who also happen to be the most wonderful neighbors! To celebrate the Fourth of July, our neighborhood organized a bike parade with police car escort, followed by a barbecue with yard games, contests, sparklers, and a friendly visit with the fire department and fire truck! It was such a fun and beautiful event. Thank you to all who made it possible, and for everyone who came together to celebrate! Happy Fourth!
Things to Know:
*Kids decorated their bikes, wagons, scooters, and anything with wheels in red white and blue decorations!
*Police escort for the kids along the parade route, followed by a visit from the fire department and truck!
*Yard games, badminton, croquet, burlap sack races, bubble machines, and sparklers all added to the fun!
*Everyone was invited to bring a dish to share at the barbecue which made for plenty of delicious food to eat!
