We loved stopping by the picturesque Village of Ephraim on the shores of Eagle Harbor. The village was settled in 1853 by Norwegian Moravians and is nestled along limestone bluffs on the eastern border of Peninsula State Park. We enjoyed visiting Ephraim’s historic fire station, eating lunch at Wilson’s Restaurant and Ice Cream Parlor (since 1906), and playing at the playground with views of the water. This place was so charming and beautiful it was like stepping back into a Norman Rockwell painting of idyllic American life.
