Summer in England: The Botanical Gardens at Royal Victoria Park, Bath

After visiting the bookstore, we walked to Victoria Park’s Botanical Garden. The kids see a sign at the entrance and choose an insect to look for in the garden. It is a beautiful space with flowers, trees, and trails. We walk through the garden, run, play and explore. After our visit, we then head back to the play area where the kids play for hours. We had beautiful weather for walking home, then V makes dinner while the kids have some down time. After eating dinner together, we talk to Cole on the phone while he is waiting at the airport in Germany flying back to us in England. As V gets kids ready for bed, C calls back to say he’ll probably miss his train from London to Bath and will have to stay an extra night in London.
