Vanessa Lee Christensen
Vanessa Lee Christensen graduated with an M.A. in Education & Human Development from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She is daughter to an American father and Taiwanese mother and grew up in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Thailand. As an adult, Vanessa lived in Japan where she worked in education with children. She is the author of the BABY GO! series with Gloo Books which offers parents and young readers a fun and educational way to explore colors, shapes, numbers, and sensory experiences through travel in 6 board books (Japan, South Korea, China, Thailand, Mexico, France). Vanessa’s writing is inspired by her own global travels and life abroad.
About CVGO
Cole and Vanessa met at a university library. Vanessa had just returned from studying abroad in China, and Cole recently returned from living in Japan. Their first time traveling together was a road trip to Jackson Hole, WY for New Year’s Eve and they have been documenting their travels ever since. Cole and Vanessa were married, and have since lived in Utah, Japan, Washington DC, and currently reside in the Midwest with their three young children and a Springer Spaniel named ‘Blue’.
