The morning of May 30 we slept in until 9 a.m. then had breakfast in the breakfast room at the B&B. Breakfast included fresh kiwi, strawberry, pineapple, granola cereal, croissants with jam, cranberry juice, OJ, white and granary toast, scrambled eggs and smoked salmon for Cole. After breakfast, we walked through the city center to the “Bath at Works Museum”. A cute friendly elderly couple ran the museum and helped set us up with our audio guides. Following the tour we tasted some nonalcoholic ‘ginger beer’ from the museum cafe (and it was strong stuff!) For lunch I was craving miso ramen so we walked to a Japanese kaiten zushi restaurant. The rest of the day was spent walking throughout Bath – to the McDonald Bath Spa Hotel, through Victoria Park, and along the Pulteney Bridge to admire the scenic river by Bath Abbey and the surrounding gardens.
