Minnesota’s Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness

The Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness straddles the United States/Canada border between Minnesota and Ontario just west of Lake Superior. It is part of Superior National Forest in northeastern Minnesota and Quetico Provincial Park in Ontario on the Canadian side. We drove north on the Gunflint Trail and canoed Seagull Lake. The pristine beauty was awe-inspiring and we had a lot of fun fishing and canoeing on the lake.
