Dreaming of spring at the Como Park Zoo & Conservatory Winter Flower Show in St. Paul, Minnesota. We spent a beautiful morning visiting the Sunken Garden at the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory, one of the few remaining glass-domed Victorian-style gardens in the U.S. The conservatory was built in 1915 by a Como Park gardener who became St. Paul Park Superintendent and who as a young man worked at London’s Kew Gardens. It was his decades-long dream to build a similar structure to Kew Garden’s enormous glass palm house that he remembered so well. Click here for our post of Kew Gardens.
