Calvert Cliffs is a state park located in Maryland on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay. The sandy beach and massive cliffs are well known for fossil hunting, especially for Miocene marine fossils and shark teeth! We enjoyed beautiful fall colors on our hike to the beach then did a little fossil hunting of our own.
