This weekend we started off the month of December by going to see Handel’s Messiah performed by the International Festival Chorus and Orchestra at the Forbidden City Concert Hall. I cannot think of a better way to feel the Christmas spirit than through inspiring music which testifies the Savior. The Concert Hall is located inside Zhongshan Park in the Imperial City and it was simply magical to wander through courtyards and gardens in the peace and quiet under the full moon light. The concert was sold out. Members of the audience came from all over the world. The International Festival Chorus is mainly made up of talented ex-pats living here in Beijing and soloists were flown in from England. It was a beautiful night!
