Cole had a conference in NYC this month and R and I were able to tag along thanks to some extra skymiles. I am the worst packer when it comes to traveling – I always leave it to the last minute. I literally wait until hours before leaving for the airport, or I’ll stay up all night long to pack, clean and do chores the night before we have to leave. I also never weigh my luggage. I even bought Cole the coolest portable luggage scale for Christmas one year but never think to use it myself. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve narrowly escaped paying the excess baggage fee because somehow I miraculously came in just under the 50 lb weight limit. This time was no exception…
