Hiking Minnesota: Palisade Head & High Falls in Tettagouche State Park

In the morning we saw deer crossing outside our campsite on our way to Palisade Head. This place was gorgeous, and perhaps one of my favorite views of the whole trip! It was such a beautiful morning at Palisade Head just off the Superior Hiking Trail. I wish I could have stayed all day but we wanted to hike the trail to see Tettagouche State Park’s High Falls. On the way to the waterfall, we hiked along a portion of the Superior Hiking Trail. When we arrived we had a great view of High Falls from above. It was a fun hike with a very scenic payoff at the end!
