Summer in England: Princess Diana Memorial Playground in Kensington Gardens, London

Everyone slept so great last night! We eat breakfast  while C works and the kids do their reading and school work. We say goodbye to Cole, have a family prayer, then walk from our building to Clapham Junction bus stop. The boys have fun playing “I Spy” as we wait for the bus. We take Bus 49 to White City. The boys love riding the top deck of the double decker buses here in London. We get off the bus at Kensington Palace and walk down the block to find an awesome food court for lunch before going to the playground. The younger brothers have pasta, R and V have Japanese shrimp and veggie tempura. Awesome food court! After lunch we walk back down the street and make our way through Kensington Gardens. We stop and see Kensington Palace where William and Kate live then continue walking to the Princess Diana Memorial Playground. The boys cannot believe their eyes! The playground is a huge pirate ship in the sand surrounded by other woodland wonderland playgrounds and gardens and even water to splash in. The kids had so much fun and we literally stayed the entire day. It is all we did today! Cole meets us at Kensington Gardens after work and the kids run to him because they are so excited to see him! We take the bus back to Clapham Junction for showers and bedtime for the kids while Cole takes more work calls. A great day for boys in London!
