Sunday, February 3: Drive to Laie. Feed boys lunch and snacks in van. Take boys to see Laie temple and gardens. Chinese tour group ahead of us. Missionaries greet us, help take our family photo, walk and chat, boys love the gardens, water, grass. Rain, chat with sister missionaries who shared umbrellas with us. Sister missionaries from Taiwan and Hong Kong! V is so happy to talk with them. We take pics of boys on the grass like we did with Riggs when he was 3 months old. Drive to Haleiwa for Kua Aina cheeseburgers. Same Chinese tour group there. Chickens and roosters walking around everywhere. Walk to Matsumoto’s for shave ice. Sit at table and enjoy our treat – so good! Drive back to our Hawaii House and in the middle of the night we see the older brothers cuddling together in their sleep!
