Lin Tian Shan Forestry Park, Hualien, Taiwan

We drive into the mountains to hike and visit Lin Tian Shan Forestry Park. The beautiful mountains and misty and we enjoy a fun walk with Azhou and family. We stop and buy hand carved wood frog drums that sound like croaking frogs. Azhou meets a flower vendor who arranges a bouquet of flowers for her as a gift. We hike, eat dried sour plums, and the kids play on old abandoned railway tracks. My cousin teaches the kids how to eat the stems of clovers. We so visit museums and learn about the history of the former logging village. It was a beautiful day!
