We enjoyed such a fun morning at Make-A-Wish Foundation’s Walk for Wishes at Viking Lakes, Minnesota! Our group of local kidlit authors and illustrators had a tent sharing our children’s books with families, participants, and volunteers. The first family I met at the event had all of my board books! It was such a special moment to me.

Walk For Wishes is a community celebration for the more than 6,500 local wishes that have already been granted. The family-friendly festival features kid’s games, activities, and walk at the Minnesota Vikings training facility to raise funds to grant wishes for children facing critical illnesses throughout Minnesota.

What an amazing event! We loved meeting families, spending time with fellow kidlit authors, and sharing about our children’s books!
