Old Rag Mountain, Shenandoah National Park, Virginia

Last weekend Cole and I went camping in Shenandoah and hiked Old Rag. Many consider Old Rag to be the best hike in the region. “Just as you can’t go to Yellowstone without seeing Old Faithful, you can’t hike Shenandoah without summiting Old Rag” (Blackinton). The hike was fun, challenging, and beautiful. We loved the rock scramble and boulder hopping – we can’t wait to go back!
