Happy Birthday Cole! On Cole’s birthday we went up to Baltimore, Maryland to see the Red Sox play the Orioles at Camden Yards. The ballpark itself was really neat. Built in 1992, it is the first of the “retro” ballparks. Like jewel box parks of the early 1900’s, Oriole Park has red brick, a forest green painted stadium, and green seats.
The forecast called for rain, but it turned out to be a beautiful evening! Check out the Baltimore skyline:

Our seats were row 2 next to all the other Red Sox fans. Such a fun crowd! Big Papi was nice enough to hit a home run for Cole’s birthday!

We headed back to DC from Baltimore Penn station. We can’t wait to come back for another game! Happy Birthday Cole!
