Paris, France with Kids: Louvre Museum

In the morning we took the train from our Airbnb and enjoyed the day at the Louvre Museum. Cole knows a “secret” way to skip the extremely long line and get into the museum without the wait. We walk down the stairs near Tuileries Garden and through the underground shopping mall. No wait in line! Awesome! We gave each kid an assignment to find a different work of art: Venus de Milo, Winged Victory, the Coronation of Napoleon painting, and Mona Lisa. The kids actually really loved the museum! We had such a great time! We decided to eat lunch at the cafe on the Louvre balcony which served ham and cheese baguette sandwiches, onion flavored chips, and Cokes. We also treated the kids to lemon drizzle muffins! They were so good! And absolutely beautiful views of the Louvre Museum and glass pyramids. We finished lunch and explored more of the museum until late afternoon. After our visit, we exited the museum and walked through Tuileries Garden. We caught the bus to Trocadéro for views of the Eiffel Tower. We walked back towards the Eiffel Tower, crossed the bridge, and ate  dinner at a restaurant near Champ de Mars. The kids shared chicken, V had the onion soup, and C had pasta and salad. For dessert we all shared a lava cake and crème brûlée. We walked to a bus stop and rode Bus 69 home – it is the best bus route in Paris! You get to see all the major sights and lucky for us it even stops right by our Airbnb. We arrived home and it was bedtime for the kids!
