We checked out of Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort in Orlando and a nice Disney staff member gave each of the boys a complimentary Rice Krispie Mickey Mouse treat! They could not believe it! We eat breakfast at the hotel before loading up the car and driving to Siesta Key, Florida. We drive to our Airbnb which is walking distance to the beach! Such a great location! Park and check into our Airbnb. Unload bags. The Airbnb has lots of beach chairs, toys, towels. We spend the day playing at the beach! It is beautiful and we have the beach all to ourselves! White sugary sand and turquoise water. The boys bring their pirate swords and play in the waves. The weather is cloudy but we get to spend the whole day playing and it is perfect! We find an awesome place for seafood nearby called “The Seafood Joint – Market and Grill”. We order the Seafood Steam Pot and it is absolutely AMAZING! Snow crab, shrimp, clams, mussels, corn and new potatoes, steamed with Old Bay, butter and garlic. It is incredible! Riggs is officially a seafood lover. He’ll eat all of it! We play more at the beach then in the evening we find a place for gelato and it is delicious! A wonderful first day in Siesta Key!
