This month St. Croix Valley Magazine announced the winners of their annual Lens on St. Croix Valley Photo Contest. Photographers of all abilities were encouraged to share their images of the St. Croix Valley. Photos were reviews and voted on by members of the editorial and art departments.
I am so happy to share my photo “Stillwater Lily Pads” was voted First Place in the abstract category. In this photo I played with negative space and low key photography.
My photo “Arcola High Bridge Reflection” received an Honorable Mention in the places category. In this photo I hiked to the location at sunset and experimented with composition to capture the bridge’s reflection.
