Cole found a new hiking trail for us to explore at nearby Temperance River State Park. The trail follows the Temperance River – the longest river on the North Shore – through dramatic gorges, waterfalls, and potholes. It reminded me of our trip to Trümmelbachfälles in Switzerland. We also hiked part of the famous Superior Hiking Trail, a 310 mile footpath that follows the ridgeline overlooking Lake Superior. It was such a fun, beautiful, and impressive hike – definitely one of my favorites in Minnesota! Hope you enjoy the photos:
