Wednesday, January 1: New Year’s Day! Mom and V walk to Chinatown, shopping, walk back home to meet Dad and GG, go to celadon shop, buy ceramics, bowls and dishes and Christmas ornaments, home and meet ride for classes at Grandma’s Home Cooking School, join with lots of international people in our class from Holland, Germany, Barcelona and our instructor, Joy. We walked through the school’s organic garden and stopped by the chicken house where they collect eggs. We learned how to cook Tom Kha Gai, Pad Thai, Kao Soi, Mango Sticky Rice, and drink Pea Flower Tea, lots of fun and so delicious! Head home late. We were all SO tired! I got to FaceTime Cole while practically falling asleep. Goodnight!
