B more intrigued by wood fence and gate than he is by pavilion. Wander grounds. More pictures. Throwing coins. V throws her coin into the pot on her first try. B second try. K fails. C tries once. *Kinkakuji is a Zen Buddhist temple in Kyoto, Japan
*It is one of the most famous and recognized buildings in Kyoto
*The top two floors are completely covered in gold leaf
*The Golden Pavilion is open everyday from 9 am to 5 pm every day of the year
*For a small fee you can ring the giant traditional temple bell which is rung by a wooden log
*Toss coins at designates stone statues of Buddha for good luck and fortune. We heard that if your coin makes it into the cup in the first toss, your wish is granted.
