Tianjin is full of cool European architecture from the turn of the 20th century. The rest of our afternoon in Tianjin was spent walking around old neighborhoods like Wudadao in search of charming homes from the 1930s. In a quiet neighborhood like this one it is easy to imagine yourself on the streets of Vienna or London and forget that you are actually somewhere in China. Lots of walking today! You should be impressed that we found our own way around the city using a folded up map that was 100% completely in Chinese!
We also stopped by Tianjin’s old financial district to admire the grand architecture of former banks like the Hong Kong Shanghai Bank, Citibank, and Kincheng Bank.
Shopping around Tianjin at night and we found cute puppies for sale!
