Summer in England: Toot Bus & Parade Gardens in Bath

In the morning the laundry gets picked up at our front door (what an awesome service!) then we walk to Sainsbury to buy snacks. We buy our passes for the Toot Bus city tour and hop on at the pick up stop. We all loved riding around Bath on the open top bus eating snacks in the sunshine! I enjoyed my kids sitting and seeing the sights while quietly listening to the audio tour and eating snacks! It was so nice to have a break and relax in the sun while the bus toured us around the whole city. Plus it was not busy on the bus at all! After the city tour on the Toot Bus, we stopped by the Parade Garden to let the kids run and play on the grass. We got so hot we stopped for ice cream at a cafe to cool off and have a restroom break and buy water bottles. We hopped back on the Toot Bus – this time for the skyline tour outside the city. We enjoyed beautiful views from the hill tops! After th skyline tour, we hopped off then hopped back on our third Toot Bus to go from City Center to Victoria Park playground. The kids played until they were super hot and sweaty and faces red! They begged me to go down the giant slide, so I gave in and it was crazy! They loved it. We walked home to meet Cole after work then had dinner at The Scallop Shell for amazing food! The fish and chips were incredible and came highly recommended from several locals. We headed home for Cole’s work call while Vaness showers boys and puts them to bed. Cole finishes his work calls and preps for his trip to Germany in the morning.
