Zion National Park for Cole’s Birthday

Notes from Cole’s Birthday: Breakfast at home, pick up sandwiches from Even Stevens, drive to Zion National Park, park at Visitor Center, eat sandwiches, take shuttle to Weeping Rock, boys “drive” sitting up front of shuttle, fun easy hike, perfect for kids, water falling, see deer, take shuttle to Temple of Sinivawa to hike Riverside Walk. Hike, aggressive squirrels, boys had fun, beautiful scenery, take shuttle back to Visitor Center, get ready to head home, Cole drives us through tunnel (super long tunnel with “windows”!), we stop for pictures – incredible views!, drive back to St. George, snow on the mountains, beautiful, get home and feed boys sandwiches and apples for dinner, V made birthday cupcakes with candles, gifts, put boys to bed, grandparents stay with kids while C and V go out for dinner at Cliffside Restaurant. Beautiful breathtaking views of St. George! Salmon with chili and mango over broccoli and rice pilaf, and Filet Mignon over green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy. Perfect night together! This place has a lot of memories for us. Check out the city views, home for cupcakes. Happy Birthday Cole! We love you!
