Minnesota Children's Museum in St. Paul, Minnesota

It’s always a fun time at the Minnesota Children’s Museum! We’ve had a membership for years and it’s still one of the places my kids always ask to go back to in the Twin Cities. It’s definitely a favorite place for kids of all ages and their families. Explore 10 awesome exhibits, including a four-story climber with spiral slide, laser maze, car wash, ball launchers, maker space, pretend town, and a specially designed gallery for toddlers and preschoolers. We also love the traveling exhibit gallery that features a new interactive museum exhibit every few months.

The Minnesota Children’s Museum features three floors and 65,000 square feet of interactive exhibits and programs. Open-ended and self-directed experiences are perfect for little ones. Enjoy the space and freedom to explore their interests, solve problems, and build life skills. The museum does a fantastic job fostering a positive and playful space for children to lead the way, imagine their own adventures, grow in confidence, and focus on important creative thinking and communication skills.

One quiet afternoon when the kids were not in school due to teacher conferences, we arrived at the museum, ate a packed lunch, and as soon as we walked over to the first exhibit we saw friends from the neighborhood! We were so lucky to all be there at the same time! The kids played the whole time together and it was so fun. Even after our neighbors had to leave, the boys and I stayed until closing. It was such an awesome day!

*Visitors may leave and re-enter the museum the same day as long as they are wearing the admission stickers they received at check-in.

We do not allow outside food to be brought onboard, but if you have a personal water bottle you want to bring, that is okay.
