Georgetown in Washington, DC

We spent a morning walking around the historic Foggy Bottom district and had lunch at the George Washington University’s campus while on our way to Georgetown. I absolutely fell in love with the charming, colorful houses.

From Foggy Bottom we walked M Street all the way to Georgetown. What a gorgeous part of D.C.! I immediately fell in love with this area and highly recommend a visit for fabulous shopping, charming homes, and the beautiful Georgetown University campus.

We visited the Old Stone House. It is the last Pre-Revolutionary building still standing on its original foundation in Washington, D.C.

The Exorcist Steps:

Climbing the stairs towards Georgetown University campus:

Georgetown University was so beautiful and peaceful. Perhaps everyone was busy studying for finals.

I love the brick homes, old streets made of cobblestone, cute wrought iron fences, and antique street lamps. Many lamps still lit with a gas flame.

And of course a taste of Georgetown Cupcake!
