Apostle Islands Cruise from Bayfield, Wisconsin

After breakfast at the campsite, we meet for the Apostle Island Cruise at Bayfield Harbor ready to board at 9:45 am. It is a beautiful scenic cruise with awesome narration – very entertaining and informative! Highlights along the way include Manitou Island Fishing Camp, Devils Island Sea Caves, and Raspberry Island Lighthouse. We eat gorp and snacks on the boat that we packed from home when the kids get hungry. When we return to Bayfield, we walk from the harbor to a gift shop called “Keeper of the Light” which the kids really enjoyed. They have a lot of fun toys, books, and souvenirs. We go back to the car and drive to the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore Ranger Office to pick up 3 Junior Ranger workbooks & pencils. The kids are so excited to start working on them! Next up we plan to take the kids on the most beautiful waterfall hike.
