We stayed a night in Kansas City, Missouri. It was surreal being here since I haven’t been back since my family lived here when I was a little kid. I have happy memories of living in Kansas City and spending all my time at the Crown Center, visiting Kaleidoscope, and splashing in the Crown Center fountains. It was fun to be back here, even just for a quick visit.
The best BBQ in Kansas City is Oklahoma Joe’s. SO GOOD. If it’s not in a gas station, it’s not the right one.
