Our church friends are excited to show us around. We meet at their house then carpool to Lacock Village in Wiltshire to see the Abbey where they filmed Harry Potter. We walk through a field with sheep surrounding the Abbey, and walk to the little village where they filmed the Harry Potter films. We visit the church, tithing barn, enjoy some ice cream, go inside the Abbey and cloisters where they filmed Harry Potter, then drive back home with our friends before heading to the church activity in Bristol. Our kids say they are so excited for the “loads of bounce houses” and BBQ! Our family really enjoyed the water sprinklers and water fights, meeting and chatting with friends, jousting on the inflatables, and playing in the hot sun! Afterwards we head out to sight-see before heading home to Bath.
