We take the overground train from Clapham Junction to Shepherd’s Bush. The Premiership Rugby Final is going on so there was a huge crowd at the station lined up for the platforms. Luckily we on a different platform so we were able to get around the crowd. We tube to Bond Street and find Coco Ichibanya for lunch! The kids ate everything and it was so good. We taxi to Regent’s Park playground. The kids LOVED riding in a real London taxi! It was adorable. The kids play for hours at Gloucester Gate Playground. They find a “secret hut”, play in the sand, climb ropes, and slide down slides. It is getting drizzly and cold. We leave the playground and bus through Notting Hill and get hot cocoa and a pastry at Knoop. It gets so cold that we go buy hoodies from Marks & Spencer. How did it go from the hottest day of the year to being so cold? We make our way back to Bond Street and find our way to Marukame Udon for dinner. After dinner it is time to head home, get the kids ready for bed, and prep for Father’s Day!
