White House Holiday Tour

A few weeks ago I attended the White House Holiday Tour.  I absolutely loved seeing the rooms decorated with such pretty ornaments, lights, and Christmas trees.  It was such an exciting opportunity and, at the time of my tour, one of the few occasions that photography is actually permitted inside of the White House.  I hope you enjoy the photos!

Things to Know: White House Holiday Tour

*If you are lucky, you might get a chance to go inside the White House and see it decorated for the holidays.

*You will need to schedule a regular White House tour during the month of December.

*White House tours must be booked 90 to 21 days in advance.

*The tours are popular, so the sooner you submit your request, the better chance you will have to tour the White House during the holiday season.

*To book your White House tour, contact your Member of Congress and Congressional Tour Coordinator. 

*Tours are typically offered from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Tuesday to Saturday, excluding federal holidays.
