Lambeau Field Stadium Tour, Home of the Green Bay Packers

We happened to be traveling through Green Bay, Wisconsin in September and decided to take a tour of Lambeau Field. When visiting the home of the Green Bay Packers, you can choose from 3 different options for their stadium tour. We reserved tickets for their most basic level called the “Classic Stadium Tour” and it was such an awesome tour! We learned about the stadium and team history and visited the atrium, club & suite level, and even walked through the Packers players tunnel to the field! It was a very cool tour even for non-football fans. Following the tour we stopped in for lunch at 1919 in the stadium atrium for their famous Parmesan crusted cheese curds.

The unsung heros of Lambeau Field are the team of seamstresses who work in the Packer’s sewing room. They are busy mending rips and tears in the jerseys. Two misconceptions are that players get a new jersey every game, and that the jerseys come ready to wear. However neither is true. Players get a total of 4 jerseys, two green and two white, for the season which are tailored to the players comfort by the sewing team and mended throughout the season.
